You can now use these modules to structure your schedule, in other words to define how your takt train moves through the building. The schedule – the so-called process plan – is displayed on an innovative and intuitive graphical interface with the aim of optimizing the construction process and ensuring smooth and constant utilization of resources.  The modular design allows the process plan to be quickly adjusted to current circumstances.

On the construction site, the planned process is put into practice with the help of our innovative Production Management System, which is updated daily. This uses either kanban cards (analog) or the LCM Digital app. Every project participant gets the information they need for their daily work. 

Because of the synchronized process, you can quickly see whether the schedule is being adhered to or needs to be adjusted. This allows you to respond before the process is disrupted, thus stabilizing the project and bringing it to a successful conclusion.

Steps & Elements


In only 4 easy steps you will be able to create a takted production plan for your construction site.

STEP 1: OVERALL PROCESS ANALYSIS (OPA)

Dividing the building into zone types: Areas that always have the same fitout process sequences. Process steps can either be standard processes (library) or custom processes defined with the team. Intensive communication results between the site managers, project managers, planners and executing trades. Problems and bottlenecks can be detected early and eliminated.

The result: zone types with harmonized process sequences

STEP 2: TAKT ANALYSIS (TA)

The process sequences defined in step 1 are assigned durations and synchronized. Resource utilization (quantities, masses and personnel deployment) is planned. One takt time (cycle time) is defined for all trades in a takt zone. 

This results in synchronized processes for takt zones.

STEP 3: TAKT ZONE ITERATION (TZI)

Definition of construction scheduling based on the predefined building structure (takt zones) and process modules (takt trains). The synchronized production schedule is generated from the stored data for the project. Iterative process to determine the resources needed to meet the established milestones. The construction process can be quickly and easily optimized – even at a later stage – by examining various takt options.

The result: optimal overall process for the project with evenly distributed utilization of trades 

STEP 4: PROCESS PLAN (PP)

Synchronized production schedule for the entire duration of the project. Processes can be filtered by takt zone and trades/teams and presented in a clear and understandable way. The process plan is the central tool for planning the next few weeks and for monitoring the conditions required, the so-called stability criteria. Stability criteria are interrogated for each process step and can be filtered and presented in activity lists. It is immediately apparent whether all the conditions for a smooth process are present and the steps for which planning or material is lacking.

The result: stable and harmonized process and production plan for the construction site

Building Information Modeling


We are working intensively on the integration of Building Information Modeling (BIM). The aim is to link modeled buildings and construction elements across the entire life cycle – including the related production steps. We use this information to create a process-related digital ‘twin’ that provides a seamless digital information chain without loss of data – from design to production right through to building operation.

Artificial Intelligence


The use of our platform allows the structured storage of data in a process-specific manner. This data can then be systematically analyzed using machine learning to identify the patterns and characteristics of efficient planning and production processes.
